Fade Street Social
We had our best meal in Ireland tonight at Fade St. Social in Dublin. After successfully circumnavigating the island of Ireland, we arrived back in Dublin today and checked out this restaurant recommended by Katie's friend, a food critic (thanks, Katie's friend! :) It was Epic, as Katie would say. We had Denver roll, rare and med/rare, whipped mashed spuds, cabbage with garlic butter and mushrooms, and roast cauliflower. Susan had a spectacular vegetable plate that deserves a post, but I didn't take a pic. For dessert, we had bread and butter pudding with handmade vanilla bean ice cream, and a cheese plate. Only complaint was our surly waiter, who seemed to tolerate us just well enough to bring us some really delicious food. Not the Irish cheer we've grown accustomed to, but what a meal!
